Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray is active Sunday against the Washington Redskins after a hamstring injury kept him out last week.
Murray practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday before being upgraded to a full participant for the next two days. Like last week, he appeared on Philadelphia's official injury report, designated as questionable.
Despite Murray's early-season struggles, running for just 11 yards on 21 carries, he can be expected to receive the bulk of carries as part of the Eagles' backfield rotation.
Ryan Mathews had a strong performance in Murray's absence last week, with 108 yards on 24 carries in a win over the New York Jets.
