Weight cutting issues force Johny Hendricks off UFC 192

Johny Hendricks will no longer face Tyron Woodley at UFC 192 on Saturday night.

UFC president Dana White announced the fight cancellation on Twitter on Friday morning, citing weight cutting issues on Hendricks' end.

Hendricks is no stranger to problems with the scale, and his manager Ted Ehrhardt told ESPN's Brett Okamoto that his client was rushed to the hospital on Thursday night with a blockage in his intestine and a kidney stone.

A replacement opponent for Woodley will not be sought, and a flyweight bout between Joseph Benavidez and Ali Bagautinov will move up to the main card.

Thirsting for a chance to recapture the welterweight title in a trilogy bout with Robbie Lawler, this weight cutting disaster will likely keep Hendricks out of the championship picture for the foreseeable future.
