Jason Day is dominating.

He continued his scorching hot play at the BMW Championship on Friday, shooting an 8-under 63, tying the PGA's record-low score after 36 holes (124). He sits at 18-under.

Day hit seven birdies and an eagle on 18 to tie the record, after posting the best 18-hole score of his career (10-under 61) in the opening round.

Daniel Berger and Brendon Todd - who matched Day's 63 on Friday - are five shots off the pace, while Jordan Spieth is tied for fourth at 11-under. Rory McIlroy's having a strong tournament as well, as is Dustin Johnson, and both are at 9-under after two rounds.

But Day's the story. After winning his first major at the PGA Championship last month, he's playing more confidently than ever before.

"You're not thinking about mistakes," Day said when asked about the immaculate golf he's currently playing. "You're just thinking about moving forward."

McIlroy came into the tournament as the top-ranked player in the world, with Spietch and Day coming in at No. 2 and No. 3. If any of those three win the tournament, they'll be No. 1, according to ESPN.
