Patrick Kane's point streak hits 20 games

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

Patrick Kane remains the hottest player on ice.

The Chicago Blackhawks superstar extended his point streak to 20 games Tuesday night, scoring his 15th goal of the season past Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk.

Kane needs a point in his next game to tie Blackhawks legend Bobby Hull for the longest point streak in club history. Kane has 12 goals and 20 assists during his run. Hull had a remarkable 23 goals and 12 assists during his hot stretch in the 1971-72 season.

Earlier Tuesday, Kane was named the NHL's first star in November, with 23 points in 13 games. December's off to a fine start, too.

Kane's goal was the only one the Blackhawks managed, as the Wild took a 2-1 decision.
