Crosby, Price, Doughty, McDavid named early NHL award favorites
The start of the NHL season is right around the corner, and it's never too early to start thinking about who'll take home some hardware based on the regular season ahead.
A full list of odds were released Tuesday, with familiar names - Carey Price for the Vezina Trophy and Sidney Crosby as league MVP - topping the lists in the major categories.
Drew Doughty, however, is pegged to win his first Norris Trophy, and to no one's surprise, Connor McDavid is a near lock to add his first piece of NHL hardware as rookie of the year.
