Panthers extend training camp invite to David Booth

David Booth has been invited back to the Florida Panthers.

The veteran forward accepted a pro tryout and invitation to training camp with his former club, the Panthers announced Wednesday.

Booth scored 31 goals for Florida in 2008-09, and eclipsed the 40-point threshold in each of his three seasons uninterrupted by injury. He was traded to the Vancouver Canucks early in the 2011 season.

He scored seven goals and 13 points for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season.
