In front of a packed Grandstand crowd, American Donald Young pulled off another remarkable upset in front of his home fans at Flushing Meadows - this time against No. 22 Viktor Troicki.

After coming back from two sets down against No. 11 Gilles Simon in the first round Tuesday, the 26-year-old repeated the feat Saturday beating Troicki 4-6, 0-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4 to advance to his second career Grand Slam fourth round, his first coming at the US Open in 2011.

''It was 90 percent you guys, 10 percent me,'' Young told the fans in an on-court interview following his win. ''I was able to continue and fight, and somehow I was able to pull it out. I still don't know how, but I'll take it.''

For Troicki, the loss marks the third time he's given up a two-set lead in the past three months. He held a 6-4, 7-6 lead in the fourth round at Wimbledon before losing to Vasek Pospisil. He lost to Federico Delbonis two weeks later after going up 6-2, 6-2 in Davis Cup action.

The crowd was behind Young the entire way, cheering on the American while doing their best to get under his Serbian opponent's skin during the fourth set.

Serving for the match up 5-4 in the deciding set, the fans chanted, "Let's go Donald!" He delivered, hitting a forehand winner to clinch the match and another improbable comeback.

The 68th-ranked player in men's tennis will advance to face the winner between French Open champion Stan Wawrinka and 107th-ranked Ruben Bemelmans.
