Report: Chiefs sign quarterback Tyler Bray to 2-year extension

Despite having never played in an NFL regular-season game, Tyler Bray has apparently done enough to convince the Kansas City Chiefs that he's worthy of a roster spot.

The Chiefs have signed Bray to a two-year, $1.925-million extension that keeps him under contract through 2017, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

As part of the new deal, the Chiefs have agreed to pay Bray's 2015 salary of $510,000 in full while he's on the non-football injury list, according to Yates.

Bray, who signed with the Chiefs in 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee, missed all of last season because of an ankle injury and tore his ACL in January while playing basketball.
