DFS: Filling in Your Week 5 Lineups

Here's a look at theScore's sample DFS lineups for Week 5 of the NFL season (Thursday night game excluded):

Cash Game Without FLEX

Brady, Jones, and Fitzgerald are among the most consistent at their positions. Bell hasn't missed a step through two weeks and should get even better while Woodhead won't get neutralized if the Chargers are forced to air it out. Clay is solid as a rock, the Giants' D/ST faces a soft 49ers offense, and Santos will continue to thrive on the FG-heavy Chiefs. -- Jason Wilson

GPP Without FLEX

The always-explosive Rivers gets his favourite target in Gates back Monday against Pittsburgh. If Jeffery is over his injury woes, he'll face one of the NFL's worst pass defenses in Kansas City, while Alex Smith has been locked on to Maclin. Tucker is one of the few reliable kickers and is tied for the lead in FGs made, while the Giants get a visit from the woeful 49ers. -- Ken Conrad

Cash Game With FLEX

Spend up and secure an elite quarterback in Brady for the cash game format. Edelman, Maclin, and Evans are all top receivers on their respective teams and secure a high amount of targets. Ingram and Forsett can earn extra points with their receiving abilities and Forsett faces the soft Browns defense after gaining 150 yards on the ground last week. -- Josh Ghatak

GPP With FLEX

Palmer seeks to avenge a feeble Week 4 performance in a pass-heavy clash versus the Lions while feature RB Forsett returns home to Baltimore for a matchup with a Browns defense ranking 31st overall against the run. The WRs each have pass-friendly matchups while star TE Gronkowski should cruise against an injury-plagued Cowboys secondary. -- David Chernish
