Ravens' Timmy Jernigan avoids 'overly serious' knee injury; no timetable for return

Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan appears to have avoided a significant knee injury, but head coach John Harbaugh can't say when he'll be able to suit up again.

Harbaugh said the injury was not "overly serious" on Monday, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, before adding: "I can't put any timetables on it."

Jernigan left Saturday's preseason game against the Washington Redskins with a knee issue, and has struggled with durability issues throughout his short career.

During his rookie season, he missed four games with a knee injury and was also carted off the field in Week 17 with an ankle injury.

Third-round pick Carl Davis and Brandon Williams will rotate in for Jernigan until he's able to return.
