Former Montreal Canadiens great Henri Richard is living with Alzheimer's disease and, according to a translation from Le Journal de Quebec, his conditioned has "worsened lately."

The 22nd Hector "Toe" Blake Alzheimer Celebrity Golf Tournament was held at Summerlea Golf Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion Friday where the 79-year-old was notably absent.

Richard's 11 Stanley Cup wins remain an NHL record. Richard tallied 358 goals and 1,046 points in 1,259 games during his 20-year career, all with the Canadiens.
