Report: Bills plan to give 2 series with starters to Manuel, Cassel, Taylor

Are the Buffalo Bills kicking off a quarterback revolution or just playing mind games?

The Bills listed three (count 'em, three) starting quarterbacks for their preseason game Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Bills plan to play EJ Manuel for about two series with the first-team offense, then Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor for the same duration, NFL Network's Albert Breer reports.

In other words, all the speculation about which player has the edge in the competition (and the confusion about Manuel's surprising designation as starter of the all-important third preseason game) was essentially meaningless.

The Bills' coaches either haven't decided which quarterback they favor or they are doing everything in their power to keep that information from their opponents.
