Stevie Brown could be returning to the Big Apple.

The New York Giants plan to bring the free-agent safety in for a workout early next week, Dan Graziano of ESPN reports.

Brown joined the Giants in 2012 after spending time with the Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts. He enjoyed the best season of his career that year, notching 12 tackles and eight interceptions in 16 games.

The Giants are incredibly thin at the safety position, with Nat Berhe, Bennett Jackson, Mykkele Thompson, and Justin Currie all suffering season-ending injuries.
