Texans' Duane Brown day-to-day with hand injury

Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown has been ruled out of the team's third preseason game because of a hand injury, head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday.

O'Brien described the injury as day-to-day, but did leave open the possibility of Brown missing the regular-season opener.

"Duane Brown has a hand injury. He's going to miss some time here," O'Brien told reporters. "It's basically day-to-day. He will not play against New Orleans."
