UFC Fight Night 74: Trinaldo upsets Laprise with 1st-round starching
Francisco Trinaldo completely derailed the Chad Laprise hype train at UFC Fight Night 74 on Sunday night.
A day shy of his 37th birthday, Trinaldo wasted little time dispatching the heavily favored Laprise, flooring the Canadian with a thunderous left hand before unleashing some hellacious ground-and-pound.
Laprise tried in vain to avoid heavy damage, but eventually succumbed to strikes at 2:43 of the opening stanza.
