Davis will remain with the Knicks in an advisory and promotional role this season, but will not be a part of the team. Though he said he'd like to make an NBA return, preferably with the Knicks, it seems Davis' playing days could be over after averaging a career-low 6.1 points per game and dealing with a significant knee injury.
