Updated Super Bowl odds have Seahawks, Packers installed as co-favorites

Joe Nicholson / USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are the co-favorites to win Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, Calif., in updated betting odds released by the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook on Monday.

The Seahawks and Packers each come in at 5-1 odds, with the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts coming in next at 8-1.

The defending champion Patriots had been second in line to the Seahawks back on Feb. 1, but the Tom Brady suspension has dropped the team a couple of units.

Big movers include the Baltimore Ravens, who are up to 14-1 after bringing in Marc Trestman to coach the offense. The Buffalo Bills, who made a major coaching change of their own by adding Rex Ryan, and also made the blockbuster move of the summer, acquiring running back LeSean McCoy, are now offered at 30-1.

The offensive weapons added to Andrew Luck's arsenal have cut the Indianapolis Colts' odds in half from 16-1 to 8-1.

Bettors have shown little faith in the litany of moves made by Chip Kelly this offseason, as the Philadelphia Eagles have dropped from 16-1 to 25-1.

Preseason darlings a year ago, the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears each made coaching changes this season, and each fell down the betting board, moving from 25-1 to 60-1 since Feb. 1.

Here's a look at the odds in their entirety.
