Report: Trent Richardson has '50 percent' chance of making Raiders roster

Oakland Raiders running back Trent Richardson has a '50 percent' chance of making the team, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Richardson, a former third-overall pick, opened training camp on the non-football injury list, and it's possible he failed his conditioning test. He is competing with Roy Helu and Michael Dyer behind presumed lead back Latavius Murray.

The Indianapolis Colts waived Richardson in the offseason after trading a first-round pick for him at the start of the 2013 season. He rushed for 1,082 yards and six touchdowns in two seasons with the Colts.

It's a staggering decline for the Alabama product, who rushed for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns in his rookie season with the Cleveland Browns. If he can't outplay the undrafted free agent Dyer for a spot, he may struggle to make an NFL roster at this point.
