New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson left practice Sunday with a hamstring injury, head coach Todd Bowles told reporters.
Bowles described the injury as a tweak, adding "I don't think it was serious. If it loosens up, he should be OK. He shouldn't be out long," according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.
Wilkerson showed no signs of a limp as he walked to the locker room, according to Dennis Waszak Jr. of the Associated Press.
Sheldon Richardson joined the starters following Wilkerson's exit.
