Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Billy Winn, who was carted off the field during Saturday's practice, has been diagnosed with an ankle sprain.
Winn will be evaluated on a weekly basis, the team announced Sunday.
The injury occurred just one day after head coach Mike Pettine praised Winn for the progress he's shown this offseason.
A sixth-round pick of the 2012 draft, Winn has appeared in 40 games for the Browns over the past three seasons.
