The ECHL's Wheeling Nailers have extended their partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 17th season, the Nailers announced Wednesday.

"We are very happy to extend our relationship with such an outstanding organization in the Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins," Nailers governor Don Rigby said in a statement.

"We take a lot of pride in having the longest active affiliation agreement in the ECHL, and we look forward to having another exciting season on the ice with their prospects."

Bobby Farnham, Zach Sill, and Paul Bissonnette are among the Nailers alumni that have gone on to dress for the Penguins.
