Report: Viktor Fasth signs with KHL club CSKA

Viktor Fasth is packing up and heading back to Europe.

The free-agent goaltender has signed a deal with KHL club CSKA Moscow, according to Igor Eronko of Sport-Express.

Fasth broke into the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks in 2013, at the age of 30, after working his way up the professional ranks in his native Sweden.

He was later traded to the Edmonton Oilers, with whom he spent the better part of the last two seasons. But after the acquisitions of Cam Talbot and Anders Nilsson, and with Ben Scrivens still under contract, Fasth's time in Edmonton came to a quick end.

All told, he appeared in 63 NHL games, posting a record of 26-26-7 and a .904 save percentage.
