John Jaso: (Wrist) Activated From DL
Jaso (wrist) was activated from the 60-day disabled list Tuesday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Ten weeks after injuring his wrist on Opening Day, Jaso is finally ready to rejoin the Rays. He had a solid but unspectacular rehab assignment, tallying seven hits (two doubles) and two walks in 28 at-bats between High-A Charlotte and Triple-A Durham. Jaso figures to get most of his at-bats as a designated hitter, but he could also make appearances as a first baseman, corner outfielder or catcher.
