Ty Gibbs: Runner-up Finish at Pocono

Gibbs finished second in the Explore The Pocono Mountains 225 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono Raceway Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

Gibbs started on the outside pole and raced among the leaders all afternoon at the Tricky Triangle. While he would lead just 3 laps, he would keep close contact with the Top 5 the entire race. Gibbs would attempt to reel-in leader Noah Gragson over the closing laps but would fall short at the checkered flag. The impressive runner-up finish was his eighth Top 5 of the season.
