It was all for naught as Toronto responded with a 9-yard touchdown pass from Harris to Brandon Whitaker. However, Saskatchewan's John Chick foiled the Argonauts' two-point conversion.

Brett Smith's 1-yard touchdown with 1:17 remaining in the fourth quarter provided the Roughriders with a 28-21 lead.

The Argonauts drew consecutive pass interference calls and drove the ball downfield furiously. Harris connected with Chris Owens for a 16-yard touchdown with six seconds remaining, sending the game into overtime.

Saskatchewan entered the fourth quarter with a 21-11 lead, but Argonauts cornerback A.J. Jefferson picked off Glenn and returned the ball 100 yards for a touchdown, cutting the lead to 21-18. Toronto's Ronnie Pfeffer connected on a 38-yard field goal with 2:46 remaining to tie the game.

Toronto moved to 2-0 while Saskatchewan dropped to 0-2.
