Josh Hamilton: (Groin) Out Again Sunday

Hamilton (groin) isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Analysis:

Hamilton was pulled late in Friday's series opener due to the groin strain, and will now miss his second straight game as a result of the injury. The Rangers have resisted shuttling Hamilton back to the DL, despite activating Delino DeShields (hamstring) earlier Sunday, but if the issue should persist further into the coming week, another shutdown for Hamilton is possible.
