Steven Gerrard buys beer for LA Galaxy fans
Steven Gerrard knows how to make a great first impression.
The Los Angeles Galaxy's newest player was introduced to supporters at the StubHub Center on Saturday night during halftime of the team's clash with Toronto FC.
While the former Liverpool captain predictably expressed his hopes for a future full of winning, good times, blah, blah, blah, it was Gerrard's gesture beforehand that likely won the admiration of the team's various supporters' groups.
In celebration of his arrival - and, of course, Independence Day - Gerrard distributed cases of beer to thirsty supporters:
