Expectations weren't high for the 41-year-old Suzuki even after the expected short-term bump in playing time, but he's recently become an offensive liability, going hitless in his last 30 plate appearances. Until he can shake it off, he will likely continue to surrender starts to Cole Gillespie in right field.
