Parra is expected to remain in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the Braves, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
Parra has several threats to his playing time lurking around the corner, as Khris Davis (knee) could be back in action as early as Monday, and Carlos Gomez (wrist) isn't expected to need an extended absence. Parra has done more than prove he belongs, however, going 9-for-17 at the plate to start the month of July and bringing his season-long batting average up to .306. Until he cools off, it will be difficult for manager Craig Counsell to hold Parra out of the lineup.
