Joey Chestnut's eight-year winning streak at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest has come to an end.

After downing a ridiculous 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes, narrowly topping Chestnut's mark of 60, Matt "Megatoad" Stonie is this year's champion.

Chestnut hadn't lost the annual Fourth of July event since first defeating Takeru Kobayashi in 2007. He entered Saturday's competition in Coney Island as an overwhelming -900 favorite, according to Bovada.

Every other competitor, Stonie included, had odds set at +500.

For football fans - or anyone else in the world - wondering what it might take to store that many franks in one's body, the play-by-play announcer compared Chestnut's "majestic" stomach to Tom Brady's footballs. So there's that.
