Fraser signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets on Thursday, Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Analysis:
Fraser managed to stick around in the NHL all season with the Bruins and Oilers, but after providing only eight goals and 12 points in 60 games, Edmonton declined to tender him a contract earlier this week. He'll stick around in Canada and compete for a fourth-line role with the Jets in training camp, though the two-way nature of his contract may make him susceptible to an assignment to AHL St. John's.
