Jake Allen has a renewed measure of job security.

The St. Louis Blues have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the goaltender, the club announced Friday. The deal is believed to be worth $2.35 million per season.

The 24-year-old, drafted 34th overall in 2008, led all rookie goalies with 22 wins this past season, posting four shutouts and a .913 save percentage.

Allen also made six starts in the playoffs, winning two with a save percentage of .904.

As it stands, he'll be expected to challenge Brian Elliott for the starting gig this coming season.
