The Vancouver Canucks are shaking things up.

Laurence Gilman, vice president of hockey operations and assistant general manager, Lorne Henning, vice president of player personnel and assistant general manager, and Eric Crawford, director of player personnel, have been relieved of their duties with the team, according to the club's official website.

Team president Trevor Linden expressed his gratitude to the group for their efforts on Thursday.

"On behalf of our entire organization I would like to sincerely thank Laurence, Lorne and Eric for their commitment and dedication to the Vancouver Canucks," Linden said. "They have been important members of our staff for a long time and made significant contributions to the success of this team. Further still, they are great people and respected members of the hockey community."

The Canucks finished last season second in the Pacific Division with a 48-29-5 record, ultimately losing to the Calgary Flames in the first round of the postseason.

There was no word on who will fill the roles moving forward.
