Canadiens agree to terms with Christian Thomas on 1-year contract

The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Christian Thomas to a one-year, two-way contract, general manager Marc Bergevin announced Thursday.

The 23-year-old appeared in 18 games for the Canadiens this past season, scoring his first and only NHL goal.

In 52 games with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs, he recorded 11 goals and 11 assists.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
