Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Blue Jays are dipping into the international market to bolster their minor-league system.

The club has reportedly agreed to terms with 16-year-old outfielder Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the son of nine-time All-Star Vladimir Guerrero, on a deal that includes a $4.1-million bonus.

Guerrero Jr., ranked fourth on MLB.com's Top 30 International Prospects list, is described by scouts as having big, raw power, with excellent plate coverage.

Guerrero Sr. spent time in the Blue Jays' organization in the twilight years of his baseball career in 2012, inking a minor-league contract before eventually asking for his release.
