Analysis:

Fedun was essentially signed for injury insurance on defense for Vancouver and is expected to spend most of the season in the minors. He hasn't had much experience in the NHL, as he has recorded six points in just 11 career games with the Sharks and Oilers. With AHL Worcester in 2014-15, Fedun notched 34 points in 65 games.
