As he enters his 15th NHL season, Horcoff is essentially looking for a team that gives him a good opportunity to contribute. Anaheim seems to present that chance, at least while Nate Thompson (shoulder) remains sidelined for the season's first month or longer. Once Thompson is healthy, Horcoff's ability to play the wing may allow him to maintain a spot on the Ducks' third or fourth line.
