Manager A.J. Hinch said, "I'm not optimistic he's going to miss the DL. I do think it's going to be a DL." Springer was hit by a pitch on his wrist in Wednesday's game and tried to stay in the game, but could not make it to his next at-bat. Domingo Santana will likely see more playing time if Springer goes on the DL.
