Unrestricted free agent Rodney Stuckey is a player of interest for the Washington Wizards, according to a report from J. Michael of CSN.

The Wizards were dealt a blow of sorts by reportedly losing Paul Pierce on Wednesday, and Stuckey represents an outside-the-box Plan B.

While Pierce is a forward, Stuckey - a 6-foot-5 combo guard - could pick up the former's scoring slack in a backcourt rotation along with John Wall and Bradley Beal. After a strong postseason, the Wizards should be ready to move Otto Porter into the starting three spot.

Stuckey averaged 12.6 points per game this past season with the Pacers, his first in Indiana after seven years with the Detroit Pistons.
