Buster Posey: Leaves Wednesday's Game In Fifth Inning

Posey (undisclosed) left Wednesday's game after the top of the fifth inning, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Posey had taken a hard foul ball off the mask earlier in the game, but the team has yet to release an official reason as to why its star catcher made an early exit from Wednesday's game. Andrew Susac has come into the game as Posey's replacement behind the plate.
