Houston Texans rookie defensive lineman Brandon Ivory was arrested on first-degree burglary charges after allegedly invading a Tuscaloosa Ala., home Wednesday, according to Stephen Dethrage of AL.com.

Police say Ivory and another man, Nicholas Gerald Gibson III, were armed with an assault rifle and a knife, kicking in the back door of the home and robbing its residents of both cash and electronics. One victim was assaulted in the break in.

After police were able to locate and question both suspects, Ivory and Gibson were placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with bonds set at $120,000 each.

Ivory's agent indicated his client will eventually be cleared of all charges.

The Texans have also issued a statement.

"The Houston Texans are aware of the police report regarding DT Brandon Ivory in Tuscaloosa, Ala. At this time, we will have no further comment until we gather all of the relevant facts."

Ivory, a former Alabama standout, signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent earlier this offseason.
