Brandon Knight: Signs Five-Year, $70 Million Extension

Knight and the Suns agreed to terms on a five-year, $70 million extension Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakout year as a member of the Bucks last season before being dealt to Phoenix at the trade deadline. An ankle injury limited him to only 11 games in a Suns uniform, but Phoenix apparently saw enough to offer a long-term deal. Knight averaged just 13.4 points and 4.5 assists in those 11 games. Assuming Eric Bledsoe isn't dealt, Knight figures to team with Bledsoe to keep the all-Kentucky backcourt intact.
