Predators sign Barret Jackman to 2-year, $4-million deal

The Nashville Predators signed defenseman Barret Jackman to a 2-year, $4-million deal the team announced Wednesday.

The 34-year-old has played his entire career with the St. Louis Blues, but the team made it clear to Jackman following the season's end that they would not be re-signing the blue-liner.

Jackman had two goals and 15 points in 80 games.
