Brad Boyes is on his way to becoming a free agent.

The forward has reportedly cleared waivers, and will be eligible to seek employment elsewhere after being bought out by the Florida Panthers.

Boyes, 33, recorded 14 goals and 24 assists in 78 games for the Panthers last season.
