Mike Ribeiro: Re-Signs with Predators

Ribeiro re-signed Wednesday with the Predators on a two-year, $7 million contract, TSN's Aaron Ward reports.

Analysis:

The Predators were able to reach a deal with Ribeiro shortly before he was set to hit unrestricted free agency, locking him back in as their No. 1 center. Skating alongside star rookie Filip Forsberg last season, the 35-year-old Ribeiro was able to revive his career, tallying 15 goals and 47 assists across 82 games. He should remain a useful fantasy commodity once again for what projects to be a strong Predators squad.
