Esteban Ocon: Mechanical Failure at Silverstone

Ocon suffered a mechanical failure and finished 15th in the British Grand Prix Formula 1 race Sunday at the Silverstone circuit.

Analysis:

The Alpine youngster would get some damage in the lap 1 melee and crash, but his team would make repairs and get Ocon back out after the red flag was lifted. Ocon would battle in the back-end of the Top 10 and appear to be headed toward points at Silverstone. However, his Alpine Renault would suffer a total loss of hydraulics on lap 37 and come to a stop on track. The DNF was disappointing for Ocon and snapped his two-race points streak.
