Sanchez (back) might return to the bullpen when he is healthy, the Associated Press reports.

Analysis:

This makes plenty of sense, as Sanchez was much better as a reliever last season than he was as a starter this year, and Marco Estrada, who has been surprisingly solid as a starter, and pop-up prospect Matt Boyd may profile better in the rotation. The Jays have Roberto Osuna and Steve Delabar handling things at the back of the bullpen currently, but it would not be surprising if Sanchez found his way back to the closer role he occupied at the end of last season.
