National League Game Summary - Los Angeles at Arizona

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Howie Kendrick and Yasmani Grandal each homered and combined for six hits and six RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers shook off Monday's disappointing loss with a 6-4 win in 10 innings over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Kendrick led off the top of the 10th inning with a blast to right off David Hernandez (0-1) to put the finishing touches on a 4-for-5 effort at the plate. Later in the inning, Grandal added a pair of insurance runs with a double to left.

"First of all, he's a good hitter," D-backs manager Chip Hale said of Kendrick. "He's been in the big leagues for a long time. He's good in the clutch."

Grandal hit a two-run homer earlier in the game for his 12th long ball of the season and second in as many nights.

Joel Peralta (2-1), who was one of four Dodgers relievers to give up at least two runs in their 10-6 loss on Monday, tossed a scoreless ninth to earn the win. Paul Goldschmidt doubled in a run in the bottom of the 10th, but Kenley Jansen settled down after that and struck out Yasmany Tomas to record his 12th save.

In the top of the second inning, Grandal's two-run shot to left gave the Dodgers an early lead.

Arizona responded with a run in the home half, as Jake Lamb singled and scored on Chris Owings' sacrifice fly. Nick Ahmed then matched Grandal with his second homer of the series in the bottom of the fourth. His two-run shot to right made it 3-2.

Enrique Burgos started the seventh inning on the hill for Arizona and walked Jimmy Rollins before consecutive singles from Joc Pederson and Kendrick knotted the score at 3-3.
