It's not inconceivable to think that unrestricted free agent Tyson Chandler could wind up signing with the Milwaukee Bucks, Ken Berger of CBS Sports reports.

Chandler, who turns 33 years old this October, has a pre-existing relationship with Bucks' head coach Jason Kidd, as the two won an NBA championship together as members of the Dallas Mavericks in 2011.

They also share an agent in Jason Schwartz, as Berger points out.

Chandler is coming off one of his strongest seasons in years, having averaged a double-double of 10.3 points and 11.5 rebounds with a career-high PER of 20.1 in 75 appearances for the Mavericks.

Milwaukee has three centers on its roster signed through next season in Zaza Pachulia, John Henson, and Miles Plumlee, who was acquired by the team prior to the trade deadline in a move that also brought in 2014 NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams.

Chandler doesn't fill a pressing need in the middle, but he can provide some veteran leadership for a team that only has two players over the age of 30. He also won't command many minutes in such a deep frontcourt, leaving enough playing time for Kidd to continue rolling with a young, developing big like Henson.

However, if the Mavericks can somehow sway Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan to sign with the Big D, management may elect to work out a sign-and-trade agreement that would send Chandler to the City of Angels.
