Risky or not, it's time to bring out the big guns.

Kobe Bryant will be part of the Lakers' presentation to unrestricted free-agent power forward LaMarcus Aldridge Tuesday night in Los Angeles, according to USA Today's Sam Amick.

While this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, it's noteworthy seeing as Bryant's apparent presence at these recruiting gatherings hasn't resulted in success over the past few summers.

In 2013, Bryant's reported "you need to learn how it's done" lecture to Dwight Howard saw D12 become a Houston Rocket 11 days later. Last year, a meeting with Carmelo Anthony ended with the reported determination by both sides that Melo wasn't better off switching coasts.

Aldridge is conducting his seven free-agent meetings in Los Angeles, where his representatives are based and he keeps a home. While the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks appear to be the odds-on favorites to land the native Texan, Aldridge to the Lakers shouldn't be ruled out, however long Kobe would be a notoriously tough teammate for.

One report Tuesday has the Lakers looking to create as much cap space as possible to accommodate Aldridge, but it's debatable what they could actually clear.
